Dr. Ahmed Bilal Highlights Holistic Approach to Drug Awareness at 'Drug Free Kashmir' Seminar in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 22 (KNS): Dr. Ahmed Bilal, a renowned holistic medicine practitioner and diagnostic face reader, participated as a guest and speaker at the “Drug Free Kashmir” seminar held today at the Government College of Education, M.A. Road, Srinagar. The one-day awareness campaign was organised by Voice of Weekly Newspapers Kashmir and A.R. Azad Memorial Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Information & PR Kashmir and J&K Police, and supported by Jammu & Kashmir Bank.

Dr. Bilal spoke about the growing menace of drug abuse and its devastating impact on youth and families across all sections of society. “Drugs are a global problem with no respect for boundaries of religion, race, or class. We see how deeply it is harming our youth and tearing families apart. This campaign is a hopeful step toward greater awareness and change,” Dr. Bilal said during his address.

On the occasion, Education Minister Sakeena Itoo presented an award to Dr. Ahmed Bilal in recognition of his international contributions toward drug awareness and rehabilitation through holistic methods.

The campaign aimed to educate students, teachers, and the public about the dangers of drug abuse and promote community-driven solutions to combat the crisis.(KNS)
