Sagar leads a Majlis of Fatiha Khawani at party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha

Srinagar, Apr 05 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday expressed profound grief over the demise of former Chief Engineer PDD Khawaja Muhammad Aslam Khan of Shalimar, Srinagar.

The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear the inconsolable loss. Dr. Farooq Abdullah visited Shalimar to offer his condolences to the family of the late Former Chief Engineer PDD Khawaja Muhammad Aslam Khan, who was also the father of his son-in-law, Muhammad Asim Khan.

Earlier in the day, Vice President of the Party and Hon'ble Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, along with Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani Sogami, attended the funeral prayers of the deceased. Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar and MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar also visited the family in Shalimar to offer their condolences.

Later in the day, Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar led a gathering of Fatiha Khawani at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha in honor of the deceased. He, along with other party members, expressed their heartfelt condolences to both the Abdullah and Khan families during this challenging time.(KNS)
