Pattan, Oct 31(KNS): A 63-year-old man from Singhpora Pattan died after being hit by a mini-auto on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway near a petrol pump at Chenabal on Thursday evening.
Police said the auto, bearing registration number JK05N 4085 and driven by Mehraj-ud-Din Malik, son of Abdul Rehman Malik of Andargam Pattan, hit a pedestrian identified as Nizar Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone of Kansut Colony Khanpeth.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Locals rushed the injured man to JVC Srinagar, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have seized the vehicle and started an investigation.(KNS)
