Srinagar, Sep 28(KNS): Omar Abdullah, vice president of the National Conference, accused Engineer Rashid, chief of the Awami Itehad Party, of knowing about the rollback of Article 370 in 2018 but remaining silent until 2019.
Speaking at a rally in Sogam, Kupwara, he stated that had Rashid spoken up sooner, the National Conference could have sought a Supreme Court stay on the Centre’s plans
Abdullah criticized Rashid’s silence, saying it had detrimental consequences for Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the loss of Article 370, 35A, and various rights concerning land and jobs.
He emphasized that ownership of land and resources has shifted from the people of Jammu and Kashmir to the broader population of India.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
