Ex trade union leader joins PDP

Srinagar January 22 (KNS): The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) received a boost in Sonawari, Bandipora, with the inclusion of Bashir Ahmad Parray, a prominent socio-political activist and former trade union leader. Parray joined the party in the presence of PDP General Secretary Mohammed Khursheed Aalam at a function held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

 

Welcoming Parray, Aalam expressed confidence that his entry would strengthen the party at the grassroots level. Parray, in his address, revealed that he had long been a sympathizer of the PDP and was inspired by the vision of the party’s founder, the late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe also reaffirmed his faith in the leadership of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti.

 

The event was attended by several party leaders, including District President Srinagar Abdul Qayoum Bhat, Dr. Ali Mohammed, Arif Laigaroo, Bashir Ahmad Beigh, Ali Mohammed Baba, Mushtaq Bathipora, Peer Parvaiz, Peer Irfan, Khan Fayaz, and others.

 

In another development, Mushtaq Ahmad Denthoo, a noted social activist from Qamarwari, Srinagar, also joined the PDP. He was welcomed into the party by General Secretary Mohammed Khursheed Aalam and other senior leaders.(KNS)
