Bandipora, 18 Feb (KNS): A massive fire on Tuesday killed almost fifteen sheep and goats at Pazalpora village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district.
According to locals, the fire broke out at one Bashir Ahmad Chopan’s Cowshed in Chopan Mohalla Pazalpora and within minutes reduced the structure to ashes, including a storage unit in which hay, rice and other stock were kept.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Officials estimate that about fifteen livestock, including sheep, goats, which included lambs, and kids of the sheep, were killed.
Although the fire was later controlled, the farmer has been left devastated. (KNS)
