GDC Baramulla holds One Day Hands-On Training on Pulse, HRV Biofeedback

 Baramulla, Dec 12(KNS): The Department of Psychology, Government Degree College Baramulla successfully organized a one-day hands-on training on Pulse/Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Biofeedback, offering participants an enriching experience in applying biofeedback techniques to enhance psychological well-being.

The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Prof. Mohammad Shafi Lone, who lauded the department's initiative in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical skills. In his address, Prof. Lone highlighted the significance of biofeedback in stress management, mental health, and advancing psychological research. Demonstrating his personal interest, he actively attended one of the training sessions, emphasizing the importance of such programs for both students and professionals.

The training began with an insightful introduction by Dr. Kaiser Ahmad Dar, Head, Department of Psychology, who elaborated on the objectives and the relevance of biofeedback in academic and clinical contexts.
