Pattan, Nov 11 (KNS): The NCC Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Pattan, in collaboration with 3 JK Battalion NCC Baramulla, organized a Blood Donation Camp on Monday to commemorate 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’.
As per Kashmir News Service (KNS) The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets and students, who came forward to donate blood and spread awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Dr. Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani, Assistant Professor and Associate NCC Officer (ANO) of the college. He said, “Blood donation is a noble act that symbolizes unity, compassion, and service to humanity — values deeply rooted in our national spirit. This event is our humble tribute to the 150 years of the iconic ‘Vande Mataram’.”
College Principal, faculty members, and medical professionals from the health department also extended their support to ensure the smooth conduct of the camp. The event concluded with a note of appreciation for all the volunteers who contributed to this life-saving initiative.(KNS)
