KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 17 (KNS): Pankaj Kumar Panday, General Observer 5-Handwara & 6-Langate today convened a meeting of concerned officers at Handwara to review the arrangements for smooth conduct of the upcoming election in the Handwara and Langate Assembly Constituencies.

During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held which focused on the adherence to electoral guidelines, implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), election preparations, fair and transparent elections and other critical issues.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The meeting was attended by RO 5-Handwara, RO 6-Langate, ARO 5-Handwara, ARO 6-Langate, Nodal officer MCC and all AEROs.

Later, the General Observer inspected the Strong Rooms and Counting Centers of both the constituencies at ITI Handwara. He also visited polling stations including at Chotipora, Kargama and Handwara.(KNS)
