Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Minister for Health and Medical Education, Sakeena Masood Itoo,on Wednesday said that the government is actively addressing the recruitment backlog in the education sector.
Speaking to the press during a function at SKICC, she stated that vacant positions for lecturers, professors, and teachers would soon be filled as part of an ongoing recruitment initiative.
Acknowledging the problems in recruitment over recent years, Itoo highlighted that efforts to streamline the process have now been set in motion. “We are committed to enhancing the education system by ensuring all critical positions are filled promptly,” she said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Minister also highlighted the rising concerns of drug addiction and mental health issues among the youth, describing these as significant challenges. However, Itoo reassured the public that the government is focusing on effective measures to combat these growing issues.
“We are exploring every possible solution to address both the drug menace and the mental health crisis,” she added. (KNS)
