Srinagar March 02 (KNS): Geological Survey of India (GSI), under the Government of India, is celebrating its 175th Foundation Day on 4th March 2025. As part of the celebrations, GSI organized a pan-India walkathon on 2nd March 2025 with the theme"Geoscience for a Safe World" to raise public awareness about the importance of geoscience in addressing natural disasters, sustainable resource management, and ensuring a safe environment for future generations.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) raeds that in Srinagar, the GSI Kashmir office at Rajbagh conducted its walkathon event today, 2nd March 2025, along the Jhelum River Front, near Presentation Convent School.
