Srinagar, July 18(KNS): Two Army jawans have been injured as a gunfight erupted between security forces and terrorists in the Doda district of Jammu region

Officials told the Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the encounter broke out in Jaddan Bata village in the Kastigarh area around 2 am.

"There was a brief exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists around midnight in the Kastigarh area of Doda district," they said, adding that no fresh firing this morning.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

However, the officials further said that two soldiers have been injured in exchange of gunfire while the massive search operation is going on to eliminate the terrorists.(KNS)
