“Center's claim of development in border areas Baseless”

Bandipora, Oct 13 (KNS): Member of parliament north Kashmir Engineer Rashid on Sunday in Gurez Bandipora said that the central Government's claims of border areas having been developed after abrogation of Article 370 are baseless.

Speaking with the media during his visit to village’s near the line of control in Gurez Rashid said that the politicians have to keep their ego aside and start work for peoples betterment.

He also met several delegation of locals in Gurez villages and heard their issues promised them for early redressal. “During his visits to community health center Dawar, he promised people for every possible help from him and said border areas are his priority.”

"I promise to the people of Gurez their operational theater will be functional by the end of this year from my own MP fund, and will demand Lituenent Governor for permanent Gynecologist posts for Gurez valley so that people will not suffer anymore and will not travel to Bandipora in winter months for medical facilities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"

He also said that his priority in his tenure will be to sanction a road tunnel for Gurez valley, whether he will be in Tihar or outside that.”We will also raise voice for national highway status to Srinagar-Bandipora road, i have an appointment with Shri Nitin Gadkari Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India in coming days will raise the issue of Bandipora- Sinagar road on priority.”

"Bharatiya Janata party invested a lot on Gurez assembly seat and was expecting this seat for BJP in which they were almost successful somehow, but their promises with people remain unfilled" he added. "PM has promised the villagers of Tarbal 5 marlas of land if PM cannot fulfill that promise in the last five years. What else can people expect from him? Border peoples are tied up with fake promises of center". (KNS)
