Srinagar, Apr 21 (KNS): GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, officially took over as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar on Monday.
Upon his arrival at the SSP office, Chakravarthy was welcomed by outgoing SSP Imtiyaz Hussain Mir, JKPS, along with other senior officers. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented, followed by a formal handover ceremony in which Mir transferred the charge to his successor.

He urged officers to remain committed to public service and to address community issues with sincerity and efficiency.
