GVEI launches 2-Yr Math enrichment programme in collaboration with Dr Safdar

Srinagar, July 17 (KNS): In a significant development, Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) Srinagar has launched an advanced Mathematics enrichment programme in collaboration with eminent mathematician Dr. Safdar Quddus.

The initiative is aimed to cultivate research aptitude and higher-order thinking skills among students besides nurturing the next generation of critical thinkers and problem-solvers from an early stage.

Following a rigorous two-tier selection process, students from classes 6 to 8 have been shortlisted for the program.

"Over a span of two years, these selected students will participate in monthly workshops focusing on mathematical reasoning, problem-solving strategies, and analytical thinking aligned with national and international Math Olympiad standards," the handout reads.

The core objective of the programme is to bridge the gap between school-level mathematics and the advanced skill set required for research-oriented undergraduate programs in India and abroad.

"It aims to prepare students not just for Olympiads but for careers in scientific research, innovation, and analytical disciplines," it reads.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
