Handwara, May 25 (KNS): In a determined effort to combat the drug menace in the Qaziabad area, Handwara Police, in collaboration with the Revenue Department, launched a special operation against the illegal cultivation of poppy in Lokipora Qaziabad, Handwara.

During the drive, authorities successfully destroyed the poppy crops, marking a significant step in their ongoing battle against drug cultivation and distribution in the region. As a result, Case FIR No 28/2024 has been registered under relevant sections of the law against the cultivators at Police Station Kralgund Handwara, and an investigation is underway.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
