Heatwave Likely in J&K, Thundershowers Expected Monday


Srinagar, May 16 (KNS): Temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir are set to rise significantly over the next three days, with heatwave conditions likely in several parts of the Union Territory, officials said on Friday.

The department has advised residents to stay hydrated and avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours as the heat intensifies ahead of expected rainfall early next week.(KNS)
