Srinagar, Sep 6 (KNS): In an exemplary show of dedication and determination, two Kashmiri mountain bike riders successfully scaled up Umlingla Pass, which is one of the world’s highest motorable roads at an altitude of 19,024 feet above sea level.
Sheen Amin and Adnan Bashir, displayed enormous endurance to achieve the feat. The two cyclists took just five days to cover a distance of 406 kilometers on the difficult terrain, in one of the most remarkable cycling treks in that region.
The duo began their journey in Leh, and went gliding to some of the region’s most adventurous and picturesque landscapes that included Upshi, Hymai, Nyoma, Hanly, and Chusmule enroute to Umlingla Pass. For those who are unable to go to mountains to experience such outings, the adventure and thrill can be corresponded to that achieved while playing engrossing indoor games or engaging in an online activity like the casinodays bonus game.
Speaking after achieving the extraordinary feat, Amin said, “The last two days, particularly the stretch from Hanly to Chusmule via Nurbula Pass and then on to Umlingla, were some of the most challenging moments of the expedition.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelBut it’s in these challenges that we find the true essence of adventure.”
“Our journey to Umlingla Pass is more than just a personal achievement. My vision is to discover new cycling routes and promote the unparalleled beauty of the Kashmir and Ladakh regions.
