New Delhi, August 8 (KNS): In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi’s cousin, Asif Qureshi, was murdered in the Bhogal area of Delhi following an argument over parking.

The incident occurred late Thursday night near his residence on Church Lane, Jangpura, under the jurisdiction of Nizamuddin Police Station.

According to Delhi Police, 42-year-old Asif Qureshi had asked two men to remove their scooter parked at the entrance of his house. A verbal altercation followed, during which the men threatened him and left. They returned shortly after with a sharp metal poker and fatally attacked him.

Police received a call about the incident around 10:30 PM. Asif was found seriously injured and bleeding. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The murder weapon has also been recovered.

Police said, “During the altercation, one of the accused stabbed the victim in the chest with a sharp object, leading to his death. Further investigation is underway.”

Speaking to reporters, the victim’s wife alleged foul play. “My husband was deliberately and conspiratorially murdered. This was not a random fight — it was planned,” she said.

The incident has sent shockwaves across the local community, with residents demanding stricter law enforcement to curb rising aggression in the area.

Asif Qureshi, son of Ilyas Qureshi, was a long-time resident of Church Lane and known for his friendly nature.(KNS)
