Srinagar, June 13 (KNS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir extended heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasions of the Urs of Shah-i-Hamadan Sahib and Mela Kheer Bhawani.
In his message, the IGP expressed hope that these holy occasions would imbue everyone with faith in the goodness of humanity and inspire unity and harmony among all communities.
The Urs of Shah-i-Hamadan Sahib commemorates the life and teachings of the revered Sufi saint, Mir Syed Ali Hamadani, known for his profound impact on the spiritual and cultural landscape of Kashmir. Devotees gather at his shrine to offer prayers and seek blessings.
