IGP Kashmir Visits Injured Jawans of Khanyar Encounter

 November 2, Srinagar (KNS): The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V K Bhirdi visited injured jawans from the police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) who sustained injuries during an encounter with terrorists in Khanyar, Srinagar, earlier today.

According to posts of the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Kashmir Police, the visit was aimed at showing concern for the injured and recognizing their sacrifices in the line of duty.
In one post, Kashmir Police shared, “The Inspector General of Police Kashmir visited the injured jawans from the police and CAPF who were wounded during an encounter with terrorists in Khanyar, Srinagar, earlier today.”

The IGP committed to providing the wounded officers with all necessary assistance to ensure a smooth recovery. As shared by Kashmir Police, “He also offered words of encouragement and assured the injured personnel of full support throughout their recovery process.” (KNS).
