Jammu: August 24 (KNS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Traffic Mohd Suleman Choudhary, held an introductory meeting with the all Gazetted Officers (GOs) of Traffic City/Rural Jammu including Dr. Haseeb Mughul DIG Traffic Range Jammu, Shri Rohit Baskotra, SSP Traffic NHW Ramban, Shri Vinay Kumar, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu & Faisal Qureshi, SSP Traffic City Jammu to address the current traffic scenario in the Jammu region. The meeting aimed to foster better communication, enhance coordination, and set clear goals for traffic management across the region. The discussion highlighted the pressing concerns of traffic congestion, accident rates, and the need for improved enforcement and infrastructure.
Mohd Suleman Choudhary, IPS, IGP Traffic J&K emphasized the importance of a unified approach in addressing traffic management challenges and improving road safety. Rohit Baskotra, SSP Traffic NHW Raman, Vinay Kumar, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu & Shri Faisal Qureshi, SSP Traffic City Jammu presented a detailed presentation on the overall Traffic scenario in their respective juridictions and existing traffic management practices and after that Dr. Haseeb Mughul-IPS, DIG Traffic Range Jammu highlighted the pressing concerns of traffic congestion, issues, road condition and inadequate infrastructure besides some solutions.
Mohd Suleman Choudhary, IPS, IGP Traffic J&K acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the traffic officers and highlighted the need for continued collaboration and innovative solutions to tackle traffic-related issues. The meeting also served as a platform for officers to share their insights, challenges, and suggestions.
