Srinagar , Dec 22 (KNS) : The General Secretary of JK Peoples Conference and President of All JK Shia Association on monday expressed deep concern over the safety and well-being of students from Jammu and Kashmir who are currently stranded in Bangladesh due to the prevailing crisis.

In a tweet addressed to Dr. S. Jaishankar, he said that he is receiving continuous distress calls from friends, classmates, and families of students from J&K who remain stranded abroad. He added that the uncertainty on the ground has created intense anxiety among the students, while their parents back home are living in constant fear for their children’s safety.

Recalling the recent evacuation of Indian nationals during the crisis in Iran, he said the swift and timely action taken by the Government of India had reinforced the faith of ordinary citizens in the Ministry of External Affairs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe added that with the same trust and confidence, the people of Kashmir are looking towards the Union Government for a similar compassionate and prompt intervention for the stranded students.
