In Manifesto, Apni Party Promises Statehood, Free Winter Electricity


Srinagar, Aug 21(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party unveiled its poll manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections in the Union Territory.

The party’s primary commitment is to seek the restoration of full statehood for Jammu and Kashmir. The announcement was made during a press conference by Rafi Ahmad Mir, the general secretary of the Apni Party. He emphasized the party's focus on these issues as part of its agenda for the forthcoming elections.

The manifesto also outlines other key issues, including the protection of land and job rights, and the return of Kashmiri Pandits. Furthermore, the party has pledged to work on the implementation of an old pension scheme.

Another significant promise is the provision of 500 units of free electricity during the winter months for the Kashmir region.(KNS).
