India Rejects Pakistan's Kashmir Remarks at UN General Assembly

New Delhi, June 26(KNS): India delivered a scathing rebuke to Pakistan for disseminating what it termed as "baseless and deceitful narratives" regarding Kashmir during the UN General Assembly session.

Speaking on Tuesday, Minister Pratik Mathur from India’s Permanent Mission to the UN condemned Pakistan's misuse of the forum, stating, "Earlier today, one delegation used this platform to propagate baseless and deceitful narratives, which comes as no surprise."

Mathur emphasized that he would not dignify these remarks with a response to save the valuable time of the assembly.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The remarks were made during India's statement at the UN General Assembly debate on the Annual Report of the UN Security Council, following references to Kashmir by Pakistan’s UN envoy Munir Akram.

India has consistently opposed Pakistan’s efforts to raise the Kashmir issue at international forums, asserting that Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Ladakh, are integral and inalienable parts of India.(KNS).
