Srinagar, September 06 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Congress has officially chosen Irfan Hafeez as its candidate for the North Kashmir's Wagoora-Kreeri constituency.

A senior Congress leader confirmed the decision to Kashmir News Service (KNS).

He also said that Suhail Bukhari will be assigned a key role within the party. While specifics were not disclosed, the leader said that Bukhari's position will be strategically significant.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

On being asked about internal conflicts within the Congress, he said that differences of opinion exist but such challenges are common in all political parties.

Such issues are not unique to Congress and are being addressed within the party, he added.(KNS)
