Jammu and Kashmir Crush Baroda by 182 Runs, March into Ranji Trophy Quarter-finals

Srinagar, Feb 02 (KNS):Jammu and Kashmir secured a resounding 182-run victory over Baroda in their Ranji Trophy Elite Group A clash, confirming their place in the quarter-finals on Sunday. The team delivered a dominant all-round performance to continue their impressive run in the tournament.  


Winning the toss and opting to bat, Jammu and Kashmir put up a competitive first-innings total of 246. Their bowlers then restricted Baroda to just 166, gaining a crucial lead. Despite showing some resilience, Baroda struggled against J&K’s disciplined bowling attack. By lunch on Day 4, they were 182/7, still needing 184 runs to win. However, the task proved too steep as Jammu and Kashmir wrapped up the match convincingly.
