Jammu, Dec 13 (KNS): The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, on Saturday issued an order announcing winter vacations for government and recognized private schools in the summer zone of Jammu Division.
According to the schedule, pre-primary to 5th standard students will have holidays from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026.
Students of 6th to 8th standard will observe vacations from December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026, while those from 9th to 12th standard will remain on break from December 29, 2025, to January 10, 2026.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The order directs all teaching staff to remain available for academic activities during the vacation period and report back to their respective schools on January 10, 2026.
It also warned that any default by heads of institutions or teaching staff in observing the schedule will attract strict action under the rules.(KNS)
