Srinagar, Sep 11 (KNS) : J&K Bank organized successful Login Day events this week across several districts including Srinagar, Udhampur, Anantnag, Pulwama, Budgam, Jammu, and Baramulla under the Government’s Mission YUVA Program.

In a statement issued, Witnessing large participation from the aspiring youth, the events reinforced the Bank’s commitment to empowering youth by facilitating access to financial assistance and promoting entrepreneurship as a means of self-reliance and economic growth.

At Srinagar, the event was chaired by General Manager Syed Rais Maqbool, along with Zonal Head (Srinagar) Layek Ahmad Jaan, Cluster Heads and other senior officials of the Bank. A total of 46 sanction letters were formally handed over to beneficiaries to help them pursue entrepreneurial ventures.

Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Syed Rais said, “It is our privilege to support the aspirations of young entrepreneurs through Mission YUVA. By facilitating access to financial assistance and providing timely guidance, we are helping them build sustainable businesses that will contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.”

At Udhampur, the session was presided over by General Manager Anand Pal Singh in the presence of Deputy Commissioner (Reasi) Nidhi Malik, DGM Lalit Prakash, and other officials of district administration besides senior officers of the Bank. During the event, 35 sanction letters were distributed among beneficiaries.

Lauding the Bank’s pro-active role, Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik said, “The Bank’s efforts in supporting youth entrepreneurship are commendable. By extending financial guidance and assistance, J&K Bank is helping turn ambitions into viable business ventures.”

General Manager Anand Pal Singh said,” "Empowering youth with the right resources and financial support is at the heart of our initiatives. We are committed to ensuring that every eligible entrepreneur receives the assistance they need to transform their ideas into viable and growth-oriented enterprises."

At Anantnag, the event chaired by General Manager Rajesh Gupta in the presence of ADDC (Anantnag) S S Bali saw participation from officials including employment officer and other senior officers of the Bank. On the occasion, 31 sanction letters were distributed to deserving candidates.

Underscoring importance of the scheme, ADDC S S Bali explained that the Mission Yuva in line with its title is the mission of the UT Govt to create more than five lakh job opportunities in next four to five years and advised the beneficiaries to utilise the advent of modern technology and e-commerce for selling their products.

General Manager Rajesh Gupta impressed upon proper utilization of the funds in the entrepreneurial activities undertaken by the beneficiaries under the scheme. He emphasised upon the beneficiaries to remain guided by the spirit of “Job givers rather than the job seekers” and wished them very best in their endeavours.

At Pulwama, General Manager Shabir Ahmad presided over the event attended by the Zonal Head (Pulwama) Irfan Anjum along with cluster heads and other senior officers of the Bank, wherein 50 sanction letters were distributed among the local entrepreneurs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Shabir Ahmad said, “"Mission YUVA reflects our commitment to creating equal opportunities for young entrepreneurs across all regions. By extending financial support, we are helping them overcome challenges and build ventures that will drive prosperity not only for their families but society at large."

At Budgam, General Manager Tariq Ali presided over the event that witnessed the presence of Zonal Head (Budgam) Shadab Mehboob along with Cluster Heads and other officers of the Bank. During the event, 26 sanction letters handed over to the beneficiaries.

In his remarks on the occasion, General Manager Tariq Ali said, “The positive response we are witnessing from beneficiaries shows how crucial accessible financial services are for entrepreneurship. J&K Bank will continue to take lead role in extending financial support and guidance to the aspiring entrepreneurs.

At Jammu, General Manager Rakesh Magotra presided over the event in presence of Deputy Commissioner (Jammu) Dr Rakesh Minhas, General Manager & Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta, Deputy Director Employment (DE&CC Jammu) Sunaina Saini besides other government dignitaries and Bank officials.

Deputy Commissioner (Jammu) Dr. Rakesh Minhas addressed the gathering and distributed the first set of sanction letters to ten beneficiaries under Mission YUVA, aimed at empowering youth through financial assistance and self-employment opportunities. A total of 60 sanction letters were distributed during the event.

On the occasion, General Manager Rakesh Magotra said, “Our focus is on making financial support seamless and efficient. By eliminating procedural hurdles and providing handholding support, we aim to empower entrepreneurs and foster economic development across districts.”

At Baramulla, the event presided over by General Manager Nishikant Sharma was attended by Zonal Head (Baramulla) Tanveer Ahmad Najar along with Cluster Heads and other senior officers of the Bank. The event saw 52 sanction letters being handed over to the beneficiaries.

On the occasion, General Manager Nishikant Sharma said, "J&K Bank stands ready to partner with the youth at every step, offering both financial assistance and expert advice to help them achieve their dreams."

Overall, 300 sanction letters were distributed during the week, providing much-needed financial support to young entrepreneurs across Jammu and Kashmir.

The events also featured interactive sessions where beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the hassle-free application process and the assistance provided in preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs).

The participants lauded the Bank’s efforts in ensuring timely sanctioning and transparent delivery of scheme benefits, reinforcing their confidence in pursuing entrepreneurship with renewed optimism.(KNS)
