Srinagar, Apr 25 (KNS): In the wake of recent tensions and to ensure the safety of students and traders from Jammu and Kashmir currently residing in different parts of the country, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has taken a proactive step by deputing his Cabinet Ministers to various cities across India.
According to reports, Omar Abdullah said the move is aimed at instilling a sense of security among the people of Jammu and Kashmir who are away from home, especially students and businesspersons.
“With a view to instilling a sense of security among our students and businessmen currently in other states, I have deputed my Cabinet Ministers to various cities across the country. The purpose of these visits is to coordinate efforts with the respective State Governments and ensure the safety and well-being of J&K residents,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He further stated that the government is closely monitoring the situation and is in constant touch with authorities in different states. "The J&K Government will stand with its people—anywhere, everywhere,” the Chief Minister asserted.
The ministers will meet with local administrations, student representatives, and trader bodies to assess the situation on the ground and offer necessary support.
