J&K Students Association Urges LG Manoj Sinha for Earliest Declaration of JKPSI and JE-Civil Results

Srinagar, Oct 05(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, here on Thursday, wrote to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, requesting intervention regarding the prolonged delay in the declaration of results for the Jammu & Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector (JKPSI) and Junior Engineer-Civil (JE-Civil) examinations. The students, their families, and the association expressed deep concern and distress regarding the two-year wait for these crucial exam results, which has severely impacted the mental, financial, and emotional well-being of the aspirants.

In a statement, the National Convenor of the Association Nasir Khuehami said that the recruitment process for JKPSI and JE-Civil has been marred by numerous challenges, including exam cancellations, subsequent re-conducting of exams, and legal complexities related to the tendering process. Despite these obstacles, the students have demonstrated remarkable patience and perseverance, enduring the trauma of rewriting the same exam and facing prolonged uncertainty about the results. The delay has imposed severe financial constraints on many aspirants and raised concerns about their physical capabilities, particularly in the physically demanding JKPSI exam.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for immediate intervention in this matter, emphasizing the urgent need for a fair chance for the students of Jammu & Kashmir to pursue their aspirations and dreams. He urged the authorities to expedite the declaration of results for JKPSI and JE-Civil and implement measures to prevent aspirants from succumbing to depression and anxiety due to this prolonged uncertainty.

Khuehami pointed out that the announcement for JKPSI recruitment was made on October 21, 2021, and it is disheartening that even after 24 months, the results of phase-1 are pending. He hopes that Lieutenant Governor will consider the request and take swift action to address the issue and release the list of successful candidates, emphasizing that timely intervention can significantly impact the lives of thousands of aspirants and restore their faith in the system.(KNS).
