J&K UTLBC to organise Mega Facilitation Camps in four Districts on Friday

Srinagar, Dec 10: As part of the nationwide initiative ‘Aap ki Poonji, Aap Ka Adhikar: Your Money, Your Right’, J&K UTLBC is organising Mega Facilitation Camps on December 12 (Friday) in the districts of Pulwama, Bandipora, Budgam and Baramulla to help citizens trace, verify and reclaim their long-pending and unclaimed financial assets.

The camps form a vital part of the three-month awareness-cum-disbursement campaign launched by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Government of India in coordination with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other financial-sector regulators. The initiative aims to fast-track the settlement of unclaimed deposits, insurance proceeds, mutual fund units, pension dues, and other dormant financial assets, while enhancing public awareness about reclaiming such funds.

Pulwama Camp

The Lead Bank Office, Pulwama is organising a Mega Facilitation Camp at Government Boys Degree College, Pulwama Auditorium at 11:00 AM. MLA, other public representatives, district administration officials, RBI officials and citizens from all walks of life have been invited.

Arrangements have been made for on-spot verification and settlement of eligible claims related to unclaimed deposits and other financial assets. Senior officers from banks, insurance companies, pension bodies, and mutual fund institutions will be available to guide the participants.

Extensive outreach has been carried out through local publicity and coordination with bank branches to ensure maximum participation. Verified claims will be processed and disbursed immediately during the camp.

Bandipora Camp

The Lead District Office, Bandipora will conduct its Mega Facilitation Camp at 3:00 PM in the Conference Hall, DC Office Bandipora. MLA, other public representatives, district administration officials and RBI officials have been invited to the camp.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Representatives of major banks, regulatory entities and key stakeholders will participate to ensure wider public engagement.

As part of the program, cheques will be handed over to legal heirs for settled unclaimed amounts. Citizens attending the camp are advised to bring relevant documents, account details, and identity proofs for seamless facilitation.

Budgam Camp

The Lead District Office (Budgam) is organising its Mega Facilitation Camp at 10:00 AM in the Sheikh-ul-Aalam Hall near DC Office, Budgam.

All major financial institutions—banks, insurance companies, SEBI/EPFO/PFRDA representatives, and IEPF authorities—will participate to facilitate on-spot verification and settlement of unclaimed assets.

MLA, other public representatives, district administration and RBI officials have been invited to ensure maximum outreach. Cheques will be handed over to rightful owners during the event. Citizens have been requested attend to the camp and to bring identity documents and relevant account information.

Baramulla Camp

The Lead Bank Office (Baramulla) will hold a Mega District-Level Facilitation Camp at 11:00 AM at the Conference Hall, DC Office Baramulla, in collaboration with the District Administration and various financial institutions.

The event is expected to be attended by the Deputy Commissioner (Baramulla), MLA Baramulla, RBI LDO, DDM NABARD. Meanwhile, district heads of banks, NBFCs, insurers, SEBI and other regulators will be present at the camp to guide and assist the public.

The camp aims to facilitate the settlement of unclaimed funds governed by RBI, IRDAI, PFRDA and other financial regulators. People have been requested to attend the camp and to bring identity documents and relevant account information.
