Srinagar, Sep 19 (KNS): Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said that by 2025, the J&K will witness world-class road infrastructure, with highways comparable to those in America.

“We will build JK like heaven, like the other world-class countries. If you vote for us, we will work for you; if not, we will also work for you. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are our own, and this country is for everyone,” Gadkari said as per reports during a rally in Budhal constituency of Jammu.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Gadkari also said the extensive infrastructure projects are underway which includes the construction of 50 tunnels, some of them are already completed

He also added that DPR of Mughal Road has been completed and work is set to begin soon.

The Sinthan Pass Tunnel project of Rs 5,000 crore will be completed by 2028, he added.

He also lavished praise on the beauty of the Kashmir and said these infrastructure projects will significantly boost tourism and economic growth in the region. (KNS).
