Srinagar, Apr 15 (KNS): Jammu & Kashmir Bank is facing cash crunch and the shortage of cash from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is a reason for cash shortage in ATMs.
Confirming the cash shortage from the Reserve Bank of India a top J&K Bank official told KNS “we have already taken up the issue of cash crunch with the Reserve Bank of India and hope that cash flow will be restored next week.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWe appeal customers not to damage ATM Machines not vomiting cash notes”.
In reply to another question the top bank official said that a formal requisition for availability of the currency notes of higher and lower denominations put up with the Reserve Bank of India is also expected to be sorted out very soon. (KNS)
