Srinagar, Aug 02(KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government has mandated that all government employees in Srinagar and Jammu attend the main Independence Day celebrations on August 15, 2024.

Absence will require prior approval from immediate superiors. Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Public Sector Undertaking leaders are tasked with ensuring compliance among their staff(KNS).
