Delhi, Sep 13(KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism team received an Award of Excellence for promoting the Union Territory as a promising MICE destination during a three-day promotional event in New Delhi.
The JK Tourism delegation, including Director SKICC Galib M. Shah and CEO Gulmarg Development Authority Tariq Naikoo, represented the UT at the Business & Leisure Travel Market (BLTM), organized by Fairfest to showcase the best MICE potential across India.

MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and wedding tourism have emerged as priority sectors in the tourism industry. SKICC, as a hub for MICE activities, has hosted multiple national and international events, establishing itself as a key venue in the global tourism map.
