Lolab Nov 18 (KNS): Nazir Ahmad Kamrazi, BJP President of Lolab Kupwara, called for immediate action on several pressing issues affecting local residents. In a public statement, Kamrazi highlighted the significant rise in "electricity fees" from Rs. 1040 to Rs. 2000, which he said is unaffordable for many poor families in the area.
He also raised concerns over water shortages, despite paying high bills, due to water being diverted to other villages. Kamrazi demanded that the government ensure regular water supply to the people of Lolab.

Kamrazi also criticized the suspension of the (Indira Awas Yojana) housing scheme, which he said has left many vulnerable families without shelter. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and local leaders to restart the scheme and address housing issues for those in need.
Kamrazi urged the government to promote local tourism, especially the Amarnath Yatra, as a way to generate employment for the youth in Lolab. He called for better infrastructure to support tourism and create job opportunities in the region.(KNS)
