Srinagar, July 25 (KNS): Kapil Sharma’s comedy series The Great Indian Kapil Show, which debuted on Netflix in 2024 with high expectations, is witnessing a dip in viewership. While the show initially performed well making it to Netflix’s ‘Global Top 10 Non-English Shows’—its latest episodes have failed to secure a spot on the list.
The third season started strong with Salman Khan’s episode, which gathered 1.6 million views and 1.9 million hours viewed. However, viewership dropped in later episodes. Netflix data shows that while the second episode, featuring the cast of Metro In Dino, reached 2 million cumulative views in the second week, independent numbers were not shared.

Recent episodes featuring the cast of Son of Sardaar 2 and actors like Jaideep Ahlawat and Jitendra Kumar didn’t make it to the top 10 either. Currently, the last spot on the global list is held by Better Late Than Single with 1.4 million views in two weeks.
This is not the first time the show has faced a drop. Similar trends were seen in seasons one and two, where ratings declined after the first few episodes.
The next episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will feature digital creators like Raj Shamani, Saurabh Dwivedi, Kamiya Jani, and Samdish Bhatia.(KNS)
