Baramulla, Dec 12(KNS): Gulmarg, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Kashmir Valley, along with several other areas, experienced fresh snowfall today, transforming the landscape into a stunning winter wonderland. The snowfall blanketed the region in a thick layer of white, making the surroundings look picturesque and inviting.

This snowfall was not limited to the mountainous areas of the valley, where snow is commonly expected during this time of year. Locals were excited to witness the snowfall in the plains.

The Meteorological Department in Srinagar had predicted snowfall in the higher reaches and some plains of the valley, including parts of South Kashmir.
