 SRINAGAR, JUNE 30 (KNS) : The league stage of the Kashmir Champions Football League (KCL), being organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, culminated here today with a thrilling finale as Srinagar United registered an impressive 4-2 victory over Bandipora Blasters in the last group-stage fixture.

 
Displaying attacking football and clinical finishing, Srinagar United emerged as deserving winners to bring the curtain down on an exciting league phase. Hayat Bashir delivered a standout performance and was rightfully adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding contribution to the victory, which sent a strong message ahead of the business end of the tournament. 
 
With the completion of this final fixture, the focus now shifts to the knockout stage, where the top four teams from the league standings will battle it out for a place in the summit clash. The competition so far has witnessed high-quality football, spirited performances, and overwhelming public support, making the inaugural edition of the league a resounding success.

The intensity of the competition is expected to rise as teams vie for the coveted title, with the Sports Council reaffirming its commitment to nurturing sporting talent and providing quality competitive platforms that inspire youth participation and strengthen the sporting ecosystem in the Union Territory.
