Khelo India Winter Games Meeting Held at Tangmarg Townhall

Baramulla, Jan 9 (KNS): In preparation for the much-anticipated Khelo India Winter Games, a high-level meeting was convened at Townhall Tangmarg. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, and attended by key officials, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gulmarg Development Authority, the SDM Gulmarg, and the SDPO Tangmarg, DIO Baramulla.

The agenda focused on ensuring smooth arrangements for the games, which are scheduled to commence on 21st February 2025. DC Baramulla emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards, given the event's significance in promoting winter sports and tourism in the region. The CEO of Gulmarg Development Authority assured full cooperation, highlighting the progress in upgrading facilities at Gulmarg, the central venue for the games.

The Khelo India Winter Games have garnered national attention as a platform for athletes to showcase their talents while boosting the local economy and cultural heritage.
