Uri, August 15 (KNS): The Senior journalist of News gathering agency KNS Journalist Nadeem Khawaja on Thursday was awarded during an Independence day function held here for his exemplary services for highlighting people issues.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Khawaja was appreciated by civil and police administration at an Independence day event held in Uri.

Officials hailed Khawaja for highlighting social and developmental issues and acting as a bridge between Government and people for redressal of issues.
