Srinagar, July 8 (KNS): Riyaz Biddana Former cabinet minister and general secretary of PDP Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura visited the tourist spot Yusmarg today and took stock of the issues facing tourists and business people there. In a press release, Hanjura said that despite being an ancient tourist spot, Yusmarg lacks basic facilities in this modern era and there is no special arrangement for cleanliness. The lush green fields here are filled with garbage and the Yusmarg Development Authority seems to be failing to take any effective measures in terms of cleanliness. He also Stated that difficulty in communication and connectivity causes a lot of issues by which tourists and other peoples are facing a lot of difficulties He further stated that due to the lack of a transportation system in Yusmarg, tourists and other people are facing a lot of difficulties.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelUnfortunately, natural facilities and ATM services are also not available here, and the roads built here are also in a dilapidated condition. Although we had to work on many developmental projects related to Yusmarg during our government, and the late Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed himself had requested a meeting with senior officials on this matter, after his death and our government's departure, there was no significant progress on these projects. He has demanded the LG administration to arrange facilities here and establish a transportation system immediately so that tourists do not face further difficulties with the general public.(KNS)
