Encourages Youth to Embrace Peace in J&K

 Srinagar, Oct 21 (KNS): In a heartfelt tribute on Police Commemoration Day, Lieutenant Governor Sinha honored the courageous police officers and personnel who sacrificed their lives while serving the nation.

He emphasized the importance of remembering their legacy, stating, "On Police Commemoration Day, paid homage to brave police officers & personnel who have laid down their lives in line of duty. Their legacy will live on in our hearts."

Sinha urged citizens to embrace the values that these heroes represented, including courage, unity, and service.

He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining the legacy of peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the success of security forces in combating terrorism.

"Our promise to you & to the entire region is to carry forward the legacy of peace & stability that our brave soldiers fought so hard to protect," he remarked.

"Now, it is time for all to leverage the dividends of this peace, especially the youth, who are the future of this region," Sinha added.

In his message, Sinha also urged citizens to remain vigilant against forces that threaten peace and harmony.

"In these times of transformation, I urge every citizen to remain united. We must be vigilant against forces that seek to disrupt our peace and harmony," he stated.

He concluded by calling for unwavering support for the police, army, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) as they continue to protect the safety and well-being of the region. (KNS).
