 Bandipora, Dec 09(KNS): The Literary Forum Bandipora convened an important meeting  to finalise the arrangements for the Book Release Function of Poet  Parsa Rouf Gayal to be held on December 14th  besides reviewing arrangements for Youm-e-Nazki.


The meeting was held at the Camp Office of Kashmir Convener at Rahimya Road Bandipora and was chaired by Patron Mubashir Saleem Nazki. While Acting President Showkat Sufi besides other senior members of the forum were also present on the occasion. Mansoor Muntazir conducted the proceeding of the meeting.


The members discussed threadbare the arrangements put in place to organise the Book release function on December 14 at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Plan Bandipora. Three Books authored by Parsa Rouf Gayal including Shahkaarte Meraj Gov, Waslech Aash and Teyoth Moudurr  will be released during the function.


  It was given out in the meeting that four scholarly Book reviews and papers will be presented by Shahbaaz Hakbari, Dr Ali Mohammad Nishtar, Mir Tariq and Basharat Faukir. A special Poetic Session (Mehfil-e-Mushaira) will also be held on the occasion.


During the meeting the members also reviewed the arrangements for the celebration of Youm-e-Nazki on January 05 to commemorate the death anniversary of Founder Adbi Markaz Kamraz and LFB.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel


During the meeting, several committees of experts was formed that shall nominate literary figures  for the Nazki Award and Charag-e-Sokhan Award to be given away by Literary Forum Bandipora.


The meeting concluded with the formal induction of young poet and research scholar Dr. Adil Mohiuddin into the Literary Forum. Members hoped that his entry in the forum will give a new impetus to the forum to work with extra zeal for the popularity and upliftment of the Kashmir language.
The forum reiterated its commitment to fostering literary excellence and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Kashmiri language and literature.


Addressing the gathering, Mubashir Saleem Nazki highlighted the forum’s commitment to fostering literary pursuits among the younger generation.


“The Literary Forum has been a guiding light for emerging writers while preserving the Kashmir’s literary heritage. It is imperative for educational institutions to actively contribute to nurturing literary talent,” he said.(KNS).
