Srinagar, Sep 11 (KNS): The Indian Army today informed that a joint operation with Jammu and Kashmir Police led to the seizure of a significant arsenal of arms, ammunition, and explosives in the Keran Sector of Kupwara district.
Following precise intelligence, security forces conducted a search that uncovered a considerable stockpile of war materials, including AK-47 ammunition, hand grenades, RPG rounds, and components for Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), according to the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps.

The Chinar Corps highlighted that this find represents a substantial boost for security forces.
"This operation is part of a broader strategy to mitigate militant threats and safeguard the region as Jammu and Kashmir prepares for key public and political events.
