Minor clashes at polling station Ajar in Bandipora

Bandipora, Oct 01 (KNS): Minor clashes at polling station Ajar in Bandipora between two party workers, both alleging each other of harassment, the situation in control now.

Speaking with the media, one of the Kashmiri pandit voters said that the other party agents were misleading the voters at the polling station.

Usman Majid, an independent candidate, alleged the administration for allowing the other party candidate to sit near the polling station.

Another party worker while speaking with the media said that the agents of Independent candidates visited polling stations and started harassing them.

However, the situation was controlled after forced intervention, and polling was restored.

Meanwhile, DEO Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri while speaking with the Kashmir News Service said that the minor clashes happened which were later controlled and the poll process has been restored.

He also said that the allegations of the administration supporting any party are baseless. (KNS)
