Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNS): Moulvi Nisar Ahmad, a prominent member of the Mirwaiz family and son of Moulvi Muhammad Shah, resident of Brein Nishat passed away after a prolonged illness . Moulvi Nisar was an electrical engineer by profession and the grandson of Moulvi Rasool Shah Sahib (RA) and nephew of Muhajir-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Yusuf Shah (RA).

The funeral prayer of the deceased was led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at Brein Nishat. A large number of people, including members of the Mirwaiz family and individuals from various walks of life, attended the funeral. a three-day taziat (mourning) will be observed by the family for the deceased. While a brief prayer session will be held at the deceased's ancestral home in Brein Nishat, adjacent to Water Works Road, on Sunday, August 18, at 11:00 am, no condolence ceremony will take place at the graveyard.
