Mosques must unite hearts, welcomes inclusion of a women’s section
Srinagar December 18 (KNS): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, today inaugurated the renovated Masjid Ibraheem at Haba Kadal, Srinagar, in the presence of local residents, religious scholars, and members of the mosque management.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mirwaiz said that mosques play a vital role in shaping a believer’s character by instilling discipline, punctuality, equality, humility, and a sense of collective responsibility, as worshippers stand shoulder to shoulder before Allah, rising above social and economic differences. He said that mosques teach brotherhood, compassion, and concern for others, and remind people that true faith must be reflected in upright conduct, honesty in dealings, and moral integrity in daily life.
