Srinagar, Dec 03(KNS): Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah laid the foundation stone for the development of the Chichlora and Lalpora playgrounds, enhancing sports infrastructure in the constituency.

The Chichlora playground, set to be developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.19 crore, is being executed by the Sports Council of Jammu & Kashmir. This initiative will provide much-needed recreational and sporting opportunities to local youth and contribute to the growth of sports in the area.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gulmarg, Tehsildars of Kunzer & Karhama, and Block Development Officer (BDO) Lalpora were present on the occasion.

Later in the day, MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah held a public durbar at Kunzer, where he interacted with local residents and listened to their concerns.
